Unpopular opinion on kpop:

It seriously bugs me when people say they’re not into kpop because of the looks or catchy music, but because the music is genuinely better than western music.

Personally, I’m not impressed by kpop music as a whole. Of course there are some gems but overall kpop isn’t all that different in terms of quality than popular western music. And of course, lots of people are into kpop for the looks but of course there are always exceptions.
